About
Pachamama continues to work with La Mer to document the brand’s enduring connection to the ocean, from sustainable kelp harvesting to scientific research on its transformative properties. Over the years, our team has partnered with collaborators such as National Geographic photographer Thomas Peschke, producing immersive still and motion work across challenging marine environments. These projects capture La Mer’s ongoing commitment to nature, science, and sustainability through storytelling grounded in authenticity and respect for the sea.

The team at La Mer set out on an expedition to Port Hardy, Vancouver to undertake a comprehensive research study on one of the brand’s key ingredients: Giant Sea Kelp. Prior to the expedition, Pachamama demonstrated great project management skills, asked detail-focused questions, and most importantly provided exceptional client service. Their commitment to La Mer’s project did not stop at the planning phase. During our time together at Port Hardy, Pachamama’s commitment was on full display. The team, not only brought their detailed production skills, they also provided unique cinematic inputs which resulted in La Mer to capture an abudance of beautiful footage and photography to showcase the art behind the science.
