Over 18 months and across four continents, we followed Riley and Elayna of Sailing La Vagabonde as they set out to evolve life at sea with Sea People — an app connecting and empowering a global ocean community. Pachamama helped shape their vast story into one cohesive journey, true to the rhythm of the sea. Filming aboard their yellow trimaran through the South China and Sulu Seas, and with teammates from the Bahamas to New York and Ottawa, we captured a mosaic of connection — between people and ocean, work and wonder, technology and humanity. Sea People became more than a documentary; it became a story of courage, creativity, and community carried by the tides.
